Description
The Controlled Sound X drum head is constructed of a coated 12-mil film with a 5-mil reverse dot. Featuring 20% more durability and tone control, drummers will experience more controlled mid range tones which is ideal for higher frequency snare drums.
Coated drumheads are slightly warmer than clear heads, known for their bright warm tones, resonance, and sustain. Coated heads are widely used as batter and resonant heads in order to warm up the sound of toms and bass drums.
